It is a Beautiful Natural Bamboo Color. The Blank has been crafted by Bamboo Artisans who have spent their whole life making fine Bamboo Products. It has taken Almost two whole years to bring this project to this point.
These blanks are finely made. The seams are tight, none are open. There is no glue residue or drips.The sections are made of the finest Tonkin Bamboo Cane And they come to you in a quality cloth bag ready to accomodate your finished rod. All of the Blanks are superbly constructed. They do not come ferruled at the present time. The blanks are built with medium action and are Parabolic in performance. The Power and strength of all the blanks comes from the middle. None are Tip Action Rods AND NONE ARE POKER STIFF. I have shied away from impregnation.and the blanks come to you unstained. I Have also decided to add a SUPER NEW BLANK. It will be a 3 piece 7 1/2 foot Blank and will be called "IKE'S Special". It is a copy of one of the most famous rods ever made. I was fortunate to recently acquire a brand new condition Hardy Marvel to replace one stolen from me, while fishing on the Esopus Creek in the Mount Tremper area. Many years ago.
These blanks, in the right hands, can be turned into the finest rods imaginable. I have had several rods built by one of the finest custom rod builders here in the East.
